Why is this Woman Smiling?

I have been fascinated with the Jackson's chameleons, wild in Hawaii for over five years. This is one of the only places on the planet where we can see them adorning the trees like ornaments in a surrealistic dream. I have been observing, documenting and photographing them and have created a book.

My book, Chameleons in the Garden has 168 full color photos and interesting stories about the mysterious daily activities of the chameleons I have met. Look for it in early 2008.

See my Chameleon site
for a preview of the book cover and also chameleon items I have for sale.

To spot a chameleon when you are in the the higher elevations, be sure to look at every branch for what is not the tree.
