Currently my fiancee' and I live in North Phoenix, 2 mi from Scottsdale. He is originally from Pittsburgh and I am from South Dakota. We have been together for 11 years and we are planning a very big move to Kona in just 3 months! He was in the Air Force and we are both used to moving around the country. We don't have any friends or family there in Kona so we are making a leap of faith that we will find it to be the best place we have ever chosen to live.
I am an artist and find myself deeply inspired by the islands so I am anxious to arrive. I do work in oils and I also dabble in jewelry design and interior design. My fiancee' Jon is in sales. We both love to cook and be outdoors. He is taking his Scuba training in preparation for the move.

We have a 4 yr. old Shih Tzu that is probably not as anxious to make the trip but we know that he will love it there as much as we do! We are anxious to meet some new friends that enjoy playing cards, going to the movies or just gathering as friends for dinner or brunch. We are searching to find the best sources of information relating to our relocation, moving companies, health care providers, auto insurance and all the other basics for life in our new adventure. example.
