Sunday at The Kona Beach Club

Eila and I went down to the Kona Beach Club for brunch. We had a nice table by the ocean. We've ate there 4 or 5 times now. There breakfast is decent. But the dinners are a lot better. I had a burrito there one night and it was enough for 2 people. Probably why I'm on a diet now... Anyways the sea life was bustling today. We saw 5 whales while we ate. One of them breached 4 times. He was practically getting air! Unbelievable. I don't impress easily, I've been here almost 10 years. This has been the best turn out for whales in quite a few years I think.

We also saw a few spinner dolphins. So it was quite the show! Were lucky we live Hawaii. If you're visiting, The Kona Beach Club is located on Alii Dr. next to Bubba Gumps and Wyland Gallery. Good food and reasonable prices.
