This dove was born in the hanging plant basket in the guava tree. The parent birds visit and feed it.

Here is the mother sitting on the baby. Taken this evening. I knew that birds sit on the eggs but I didnt know they sit on their baby birds. This is the first nest activity I have ever seen and documented. We had found a cracked dove egg on the walkway. It must have been from this hatchling.
Whoops, I must be in the wrong place, I meant to submit the picture of the mother bird in this thread.
