I am a 52 year old,(yes,old),I'll say "retired hippy". I have been married for 21 years to a fine man that works with antiques and renovation in a small town south of Portland, Oregon. I am the mother of 1 daughter, and grandma to 2 destined to make a difference,granddaughters. I am a 3rd generation Oregonian,all being born and raised in the Northern Willamette Valley. I studied Arts,Crafts, Art History and Basic Design in college, and have spent many years exploring a variety of mediums, including Dried, pressed, fresh and silk, Floral Design, Watercolour, pen, pencil,and, Acrylics. We have 1 adopted "Dog-son", with the name of Bear. He is a Schipperke, and spoiled rotten,(and i'm okay with that!).My husband and I will be visiting Kailua Kona at the end of this week (Our very first time!). I won a weekend trip (3) nights,from The Conde Nast Traveler Readers Choice Poll,for 2007,and I am so excited to be a small part of the Big Island.
