My top three favorite restaurants in Kona town...

I would like to share my top three favorite restaurants in Kona that won't break your wallet and "hands-down" some of the best food in town.

#1- Teshima's
Located in Honalo. Great Japanese/Local cuisine. The "Deep Sea Trio" is my favorite; Shrimp Tempura, Sauteed Ahi and Sashimi served Japanese style on a tray with miso soup, Sunomono, Tsukemono and rice. Wash it down with some hot sake and hot green tea, Yum Yum!
#2- Bangkok House
Located in town near the Kona Wine Market. Fabulous Thai food. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've ever ordered from their diverse menu. High spice level which for me is fantastic!
#3- Rapa Nui
Rapa Nui used to be Sibu's Restaurant... similar dishes... however with a new New Zealand flair. I love their meat dishes however I can't steer away from the vegetarian dish "Rima".
