My Long awaited trip to Hawaii

It's over and done now, I wish it wasn't, I wish that I was still there,my toes in the sand, and the warm breeze's tickling my cheeks!. We arrived Friday (Nov.9),extracted from the plane like a sardine from the compressed tin, the plane from San Francisco was packed beyond my comprehension. Ah!, But what a feeling to feel the Island earth beneath my feet. Proceeding to our rental car agent, what I had thought was taken care of ended in a barrage of this that and the other, frustrating my husband to the point of "JUST GIVE ME THE XXXX KEYS TO THE CAR".Thus begins: OUR VACATION, It was not long til we were heading the right direction to our reservation at *THE KONA VILLAGE RESORT * The resort is located on 82 acres of what at one time had been a Hawaiian fishing village, all guest stay in their own little house or(hale),we nestled in next to the lagoon, where as to be expected from 2 rookie travelers over 50,we took a nap. to be continued...

Friday night, we attended the fabulous aha'aina. A feast beyond my wildest expectations,and the entertainment was well rehearsed by what I would say was an extremely tight group of singers,dancers and actors.A serene stroll through the well maintained and dreamily lit paths, made for a fine ending to our first night on the island of Hawaii and the wonderful beginning, of my personal dream come true...T.B.C...
