Memorial at Sea Sunday

If you were here in Kona and seen about 40 fishing boats gathered off the coast about a mile out in front of our place Sunday morning, you likely saw the scattering of ashes.

I recall reading about a long time fisherman who recently passed away and I'd bet this floating memorial was for him. I've seen these in the past, with maybe 5 or 10 boats. But never 40 like today.
