Chameleons in the Garden
I live in Holualoa on the Kona side of the Big Island. My husband Matt Lovein, and I are both artists and own the Holualoa Gallery, established in Jan. 1990.
I have just published my first book about Jackson's chameleons, wild in Hawaii. Title: Chameleons in the Garden. I have been observing these fascinating creatures for 5 years, keeping a daily journal and taking lots of pictures. This is one of the only places on the planet besides their place of origin, Mt. Kenya, Africa where we can see them in habitat. They are living art!
