Konaweb.com and Konaforum.com

by Joe
(Kona )

I just added them to the travel links page. I've been thinking about adding them for a while.

I made the decision that it's better for my visitors if I share with them all known resources about Kona.

Most business folks would not link to potential competitors. But... I'm not "most".

If all my visitors leave and never come back, I guess I'll have to work harder on this site. :-)

Wow! Someone who gets it.
by: Joe

Thanks for your comments Michael. You're right, a little acknowledgment goes a long way.

I have worked on this site for almost 2 years and have at least 1000 hours in it. I appreciate that you understand it takes a lot of work to build a site like this.

This site will remain free for as long as I continue to run it. The Google adsense sprinkled through the site generates enough income to cover the hosting fees.

Anyways, thanks for your post.

Some Sites Are Worth Promoting & Glad This Site Is Willing and Able
by: Michael Tucker

I for one am glad this website decided to add links to some other local sites that could be considered similar. KonaWeb.com has been around for many many years and just tons of people remember to check it out; it is primarily fee based in its sections that advertise but its discussion areas has a long time following with some members being on there for a decade. I have watched this site (konafriends) as it has emerged and changed and I'm very glad to see it still has the desire to offer its services free of charge. These days we get so much copycat internet and many sites come and go, it is just so easy for many folks to take sites like these for granted. They are a lot of work even with "template driven engines" so those of you reading consider participating in this site as well as other sites that strive to make a communication bridge to our community and the world. Just like friends we forget to acknowledge, webmasters and websites need reinforcement to stick around!
