The software to run this part of the website has always been rather complicated and since I started using the forum I just don't see the need to continue posting here. Check the forum for all current news posts.

Ironman starts 6:45 AM Saturday

I was looking forward to snapping lots of photos of the swim portion of the Ironman race, the turn around is out front of our webcam location.

But... The Blue Angeles are flying an air show at the Kaneohe Marine base on Oahu Saturday. Guess where I'm going. Ironman is every year. Blue Angeles in Hawaii is rare. I'm going to the airshow.

So if you want to see Ironman live, watch the webcam between 7 and 8 AM Saturday. I figure it will take about 10 to 15 minutes before you see the first swimmers approaching the turn around.

Around 7:20 AM if you turn the cam towards the hiway behind the house you will see the bike portion of the race pass by. I'm going to try and run the cam remotely from Honolulu, but I don't know if it will work. If I can, it will be from 7AM to 7:30AM

Remember, you can snap pictures with the webcam. If you get a good picture, please post in the webcam photo gallery. There are instrucions there on how to take a picture with cam if you need them. It's easy, just click the snap button in the lower right corner of the webcam viewer.
