Wow! What a Parade. Absolutely the biggest and best parade ever held in Kona. There were 19 people waiting online at our Konafriends/JustinTV page waiting to see it. As usual it started late.
I had a couple technical issues that in the future won't be a problem. The first was because the parade started so late I ran out of battery power for my computer about 25 minutes into the parade. The fix to this problem should be delivered next week, a laptop capable of broadcasting 7 plus hours on battery power.
The other issue was sound. Earlier in the day I tested all my equipment to make sure everything worked correctly. When I got set up at the parade site my audio wasn't working but I didn't realize it at the time. I now know what the problem was and that won't happen again.
The upside to this is my home and Konafriends office is located on a road that the parade floats have to pass by to get back to the staging area. So I left in the middle of the parade and came home and hooked up the camera real quick and caught most of the floats that I missed during the parade. Here is the video. With sound.
