Kilauea Volcano Messing Up The Sky

In case you you've been watching the webcam and wondering why the sky has been so foggy gray all week, Kilauea Volcano has been on the war path.

Lava is flowing into the Royal Gardens area of the big island. Back in the eighties the lava burned most of the houses in this area to the ground. There are only 2 standing that are inhabited and one of those may be swallowed up by the lava this time.

So if you have breathing problems, the big island is not a good place to be right now. Though I must say I went up to Hawi the other day and the sky was beautiful. No Vog up there. Which is what this gray sky is. (Vog)
