We usually head back to the big Island in spring, but you have to watch the airfares. Fares usually take a big drop right after the College spring breaks. Which means you need to wait til the latter part of April. Check the fares calendar at Alaska Air. Aloha

My wife's kids live in Alaska and just got a quote for $1400 EACH.
I don't know the answer, but I'm guessing and would say Spring would probably be the cheapest.
