Konafriends.com is based in Kailua Kona, a small town on the west side of the big island of Hawaii. Once upon a time "Kona" as the locals refer to it, was a small town with a country feel to it. That has been rapidly changing over the last few years. But don't worry, this place has a long way to go before it compares to the big city. When I first envisioned this site I wanted to make it useful to the visitor. That hasn't changed. For Konafriends.com to become an even more valuable resource about the big island it will require other folks input.
