Hawaiian art galleries are as astonishing, unique and beautiful as the island itself.

My friend Gunner Mench has a beautiful art gallery in Kawaihae which is about 40 minutes north of Kailua Kona.
I've been meaning to drive up and check it out since he opened. He's been open for quite a while but I'm slow, what can I say.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to the gallery. Gunner has some very very nice stuff on display.
While I was there looking around I seen a lot of beautiful things made of koa wood in the gallery, like tables, chairs, fish, turtles, and
and various other things.

One thing I noticed about Gunner's Art Gallery is he had a nice variety of paintings and sculpture. It is a good mixture of different types
of art. Not like some gallery's that only have one type of art like paintings for example. Plus Gunners a genuinely nice guy. When visiting his gallery it feelswarm and inviting not stuffy and cold if you know what I mean.

Harbor Gallery is located next to Café Pesto in Kawaihae, and is open daily from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Stop by and see the works of over 130 Big Island artists!
