Hawaii Vacation Packages

There are lots of Hawaii vacation packages available if you're thinking about coming to Kona .

Should you book a package or piece the trip together? Me, I usually figure it both ways. For example, Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays, I just checked their website and a 3 day package for 2 adults flying out of Los Angeles straight to Kona includes 3 nights and breakfast at the Royal Kona Resort for $1533.00

Pleasant Holidays is using United as the airline. So I went to United's website and looked up the same 3 day itinerary departing out of L.A. and then I went to the Royal Kona Resorts website and looked up the cheepest room they had for the same days and added the total price together and it was $83.80 less than Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays. But no breakfast. Probably even money if you figure in the breakfast.

Sometimes you price these things out and it's the other way around so you just have to check if you want to get the best price when comparing Hawaii vacation packages.

If you're looking for an all inclusive resort, Kona Village is going to be as close as you get to that here in Hawaii. They even pack you a lunch everyday when you go out site seeing. Plus they'll pick you up at the airport if you like.

The down side to package deals is if you get to the destination and you don't like the hotel you're stuck. You have to contact the company that you booked through and negotiate with them to resolve the problem. Not the hotel. I learned that one the hard way. No more Expedia for me thank you very much.

At the time I got burned, there wasn't hardly any hotel reviews about the place I stayed. There are lots of reviews about all the hotels here in Hawaii so make sure you check out their reviews first before you sign up for any Hawaii vacation packages.

And be sure to check out Apple Vacation Packages. Click the banner. They also do packages to Hawaii.
