Today is Saturday December 9th, 2017.
I was sitting on the lanai drinking coffee this morning when I just happened to glance up and see this whale offshore.
January 11 is always the day I see the first whale. I don’t recall seeing one in December, I probably have, I just don’t remember it. Hell, I don’t recall what I ate for lunch yesterday.
Christmas is only sixteen days away and there’s snow on Mauna Kea and it’s finally starting to cool off. Amen. I like warm. I don’t like hot. My goal in life is to chase 70 degree weather.
Back to the subject of whales. It will be interesting to see if the early scouts stick around. Mele Kalikimaka.
