Feb. 25, 2011 Pod of Whales Cruising By

So I'm sittin here minding my own business reading West Hawaii Today, aka yesterday's news tomorrow and what do I see?

About 15 whales pass by the house in a 5 minutes span. I snapped a photo of one slapping its tail on the surface.

Not the greatest photo, but pretty darn good for an iphone from a quarter of a mile away.

To take a photo with the webcam just click the camera icon in the lower left corner of the webcam viewer and save it to your desk top.

Life from the lanai...

It is amazing to watch the world go by from your lanai. Whales, dolphins, water spouts, ships, kayaks, and fabulous sunsets. You have it good my friend. So easy to understand why you moved there. This would be a good place to mention to the Konafriends, on how to take a pic. using the web cam. Keep sharing Joe, see you soon.
