I'm Dan, 25yo guy from Italy, I've a dream to come to live in Hawaii & I'll do it in 4 or 5 years if all will work as well.
I'm studing now at University in Bologna, for Entertainment & Communication, & I'm degree in a private course of the CineStudio for Movie Directors & Video Production.
I've always dream to become a Movie Director or a TV Cartoons creator, & I hope to find a job in Hawaii. But I better hope to find some friends in Hawaii.

I hope you develop a great cartoon like Bugs Bunny. That's where I learned all my classical music from. LOL. Hmmm, maybe there's no Bugs Bunny in Italy?

All I know is I haven't seen a great cartoon on TV that wasn't made at least 30 years ago. So competition should be slim. :-)

A fair amount of movies are partially filmed in Hawaii but other than that I wouldn't have a clue as to how to go about getting into that industry here.

Maybe Google "Hawaii Film commission" or something like that. I know there is some kind of agency here on the big island that I just can't recall the name of right at the moment. Maybe someone cruising by here knows... Anyways, welcome.

Hi Dan,
I am more than twice your age, but my dream is to come and live in Hawaii also. I think it is very wise that you establish friends, learn new things about the area, and continue your education at the same time.
Natives in Hawaii can tell you a whole lot more about career/job opportunities with your career choice. However, I think it is great that someone your age is willing to dream and go go for it. Good Luck to you in your pursuit. Dee
