Curt's story continued...

And now the rest of the story... this part is all positive. In case you missed the first part of the story click here.

Lucky for Curt he's got a lot of Kona friends. He's had multiple offers of places to stay. Also lucky for him he had reserved a space over at the new Kona International Marketplace before they even broke ground. He had planned on expanding from his old location. Problem is you can't buy a lot of products to sell when you're operating on the thinnest of shoe strings. The good news is a couple of his suppliers who heard his story have agreed to front him a considerable amount of inventory.

He needs a truck to go to the harbor and pickup his freight. Another friend of his offered him the use of their pickup for as long as it takes. His backup vehicle is a "beat" Isuzu Amigo. He's still waiting for the insurance company to replace his Landcruiser that was destroyed in the accident. The insurance company is definitely on Hawaiian time.

Curt stopped by our home on Friday night. Saturday Eila and I went down to see his new location at the new Kona International Market Place so we could take pictures to show folks here online. He's got a lot of beautiful items from ukuleles and jewelry to a lot of different exotic wood products. His space is the corner unit on the left side of the flag poles when looking from the street. if you're visiting or you live in Kona please stop by and check out Curt's new booth. He's a nice guy with lots of Aloha. And some pretty cool stuff for sale too.

I almost forgot, the International Kona Market Place is located on Luhia St. Next to HPM.
