We were there !
by: Anonymous

Coincidentally , we ( mother , sister & her young daughter ; brother's young son ; my wife , daughter and myself ) were at the 2008 Hawaiian Night for about the first two hours . My wife and I - who'd skipped lunch - headed on over to Tante's for dinner while the rest ate at the festival . Just prior to going to Tante's , I bought a couple of small 180ml bottles of sake which I planned on drinking later at the festival . Well , once we got to Tante's , and checked out the menu , I soon discovered that alcohol was not served ...BUT , the waiter told us that one was allowed to bring in one's own booze , which I thought was very cool ! Glug glug along with my delicious salmon steak !

Thanks Mary.

Konafriends has a RSS feed that if you subscribe to it will notify you when ever new content is added to the site.

Click here to learn more about it. RSS stands for really simple sindication. I use it to keep track of other websites so I don't have to keep going to their site and checking for new content.

You will find the Orange RSS feed button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
